Who can use Bentley Academic Coaching?
We support high school students applying to universities around the world. Support for schools and educational organizations is also available.
How does coaching work?
We guide students step by step through university planning, applications, decision-making, and preparation for their next stage of education.
When should a student start the process?
Starting early helps reduce stress and allows students time to explore their options.
Students applying to universities outside their home country often benefit from beginning the process in Grade 11. Students considering universities in the United States may benefit from starting as early as Grade 9.
Are services personalized?
Yes. Every coaching plan is tailored to the student’s interests, goals, strengths, and individual needs.
Our approach is informed by experience supporting more than 500 students through their university journeys.
Do you help with essays?
Yes. We support students with brainstorming, planning, and refining essays while helping them develop stronger writing and communication skills.
What if I want to apply internationally?
We have experience supporting students applying to universities around the world and can help families navigate different education systems and admission requirements.
What is the parent’s role?
Parents will need to encourage their student to:
be an active participant in the process;
produce their own original work;
attend scheduled sessions and meet deadlines.
How often will parents receive updates?
Summary meeting notes will be created after each session, which can be shared with both the student and the parents.
What if I live across the world?
We work with families internationally through online coaching, across time zones.
What if we are not fluent in English?
All of the students we support aiming for English undergraduate degrees and typically have English proficiency. Therefore the student should participate in all meetings and translate for parents. We ask that you encourage your student to be an active participant in the process, produce own original work and attend scheduled sessions and meet deadlines.
What technology do you use for remote coaching?
Google Workspace and Whatapp.
